My dad was disabled when I was 6 years old and as a family we took care of him and he never missed any of our events or special occasions. We lost him in 2003 but we know we will see him again one day. My mom is one of the strongest women I know. She worked full time and cared for 2 young kids while caring for her disabled husband.
