Women going through the loss of someone close are suffering extreme hurt, pain and an overwhelming sense of feeling alone. GriefShare is a support group that is necessary to help these women feel the love they need to conquer these sad feelings. BRA builds a bridge between grieving women and a GriefShare support group in their area. GriefShare is worldwide and attending this helpful group can be started at any time.
DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside women through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Women do not have to process and go through separation or divorce alone. BRA builds a bridge to connect women to DivorceCare in their area. Women may start attending this established support program at any time.

Too often, a woman's life can be turned upside down due to divorce or the sudden death of a spouse. Some have to start over financially, find a new home, replace furniture, seek legal counsel, and seek counseling. All of these things are necessary for moving forward.
Being a single mom (never-married) can be difficult, as well. To care for your family and have all responsibilities fall on one head of household can be tremendous at times. BRA raises support to aid these women during those overwhelming moments.
Our Transition Assistance (TA) program has the goal of meeting the financial needs of *approved applicants with things such as groceries or general household needs, utilities, counseling, minor home repairs, etc.
