Professional Christian Counseling
Counseling is necessary for this restoration journey. In the Dallas area, BRA has strategically aligned with Elledge Counseling Associates in offering ladies and children professional counseling. "When Moses hands grew tired they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up – one on one side, one on the other- so that his hands remained steady till sunset." - Exdous 17:12

What is Grief? “Deep sorrow, especially that is caused by someone's death.”

Women going through the loss of someone close are suffering extreme hurt, pain and an overwhelming sense of feeling alone.  GriefShare is a support group that is necessary to help these women feel the love they need to conquer these sad feelings.

BRA builds a bridge between griefing women and a GriefShare support group in their area. GriefShare is worldwide and attending this helpful group can be started at any time.

Life Skills Training
Reeling from the divorce or suddenly becoming a widow is never an easy thing. Studies show that many times ladies have had no training on how to manage their own finances, hold down employment, handle social security paperwork or millions or many other tasks born from such circumstances. BRA will be offering training classes where licensed professionals will train a variety of life skills in order to equip women with the skills and resources needed to move forward with their life.

Bible Study
Studying the Word of God will transform a life. BRA believes that God’s word is infallible. Each year, appropriate Bible Studies will be offered at a partnering church on a night when free childcare is provided. The Bible Study is lead by a current BRA Bible-Study Facilitator.

Transitional Assistance
Often, a woman's life can be turned upside down because of divorce or the sudden death of a spouse. Many of these women have to start over financially. For some, finding a new home, replacing furniture, hiring a lawyer, and obtaining counseling are all things that are necessary for moving on. BRA raises support to aid our transitional assistance program with the goal of meeting the needs of approved applicants to help with: financial needs, food, moving assistance, and home repairs. If in need of transitional Assistance please email:

DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside women through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Women do not have to process and go through separation or divorce alone.

BRA builds a bridge to connect women to DivorceCare in their area. Women may start attending this established support program at any time.
