In January 2007, my father passed away. His death took me to a place of hurt, loneliness, anxiety and depression that I had never experienced before. During that time, I would have momentary glimpses of happiness but often wondered if I would ever experience joy on a daily basis. I remember thinking--will I ever really laugh again?

“He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” Psalm 23:3 (ESV)

I can say that today- laughter, joy, and happiness is something that is a constant in my life--because of something I believe is imperative in the life of anyone going through a traumatic experience--SUPPORT. I would never have made it through without the right group of friends, attending counseling and taking positive steps to get my heart and mind restored to loving and trusting my Creator.

“Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.”- Psalm 51:12 (ESV)

Believing Restoration Is Attainable is a Non-Profit organization created for ladies that are going through divorce or the sudden loss of their spouse. I believe that ladies going through this trauma feel a deep sense of loss and hurt. One of the only ways to get through this season is with the support of those that have traveled the same journey and have successfully come out on the other side as a stronger and wiser woman. BRA helps ladies by extending: Bible Studies, Divorce Care, Grief Share, Professional Counseling and other resources that will bring restoration.
